12 January        A Walk by the Reservoir

Start        Lay-by just above Cutthroat Bridge

Route      Cutthroat Bridge, Butts, Grindle Barn, Fairholmes, Ashopton

                Viaduct. Path back past Ladybower Inn to Cutthroat Bridge

26 January         Derwent Delights

Notes     Initial steep ascent of 350m. Good views.

2 February           Hurdlow

Start        Hurdlow car park on the High Peak Trail 

Route      High Peak Trail / Moscar Farm / Monyash / Limestone Way /

                Flagg / Pomeroy / High Peak Trail

Notes      P & D parking £4.50 last time - but might now be cards only -

                so bring cash and card. An easy walk with a cafe stop at

                Monyash if we’re cold, plus a good pub at the end. A number    

                of stiles - some tricky! Dogs on lead.

                 and toilets at pub. Some roughish moorland paths, otherwise

                 straightforward walking.

Notes       Dogs on lead. Free roadside parking. Toilets at start. Fields,

                 moorland and hills but good paths, some steep. Could be

                 muddy in parts.
