Notes:   Plenty of parking places in the village of Chinley on the side

roads adjacent to the railway station and next to the community park.

Parking in the Railway Station incurs a fine unless you have a rail ticket. Fantastic views of the High Peak. Easy going  after initial moderate

ascent.  Good paths, a little bit of tarmac.Some stiles. Dogs on lead.

18th Aug                       Edale Valley

25th Aug                      Wortley to Westwood Country Park

Notes:   Mostly well marked paths over farmland and woodland. Some muddy sections. Route crosses a number of busy roads.

All walks leave promptly at 10am
